Department of Information Engineering has 7 professional directions. They are computer application technology, electronic information engineering, radio and television and network technology, process automation, communication technology (line project), electronic technology, and electrical automation.
The construction of teaching team in Department of Information Engineering starts late. However, this department has made great effort to introduce talents and strengthen this teaching group actively. After 10 years’ construction, it has initially formed a young teaching and management team with reasonable professional knowledge. At present, there are 33 teachers, including one with senior title, 8 with intermediate titles, and 11 administrators and auxiliary teaching assistants.
The construction of experimental training facilities in Department of Information Engineering is in line with the college’s teaching development and office means modernization. Over the years, according to the professional development, this department has set up advanced practice teaching bases, such as the computer rooms, audio visual control rooms, studio, PLC training rooms, electronic training rooms, computer assembly and maintenance training rooms, SCM training rooms, network training rooms and so on.
